Hello! I’m Penny. I am so excited to be part of your journey. A journey that won’t just help you FEEL safer, but to actually BE safer, BE more confident, and to actually BE able to take care of yourself when bad things happen.
I’ve had quite an interesting journey of my own and am still a work in progress (is there ever a finish line for any of us?). As a woman, I know what it is to be afraid of parking lots, unfamiliar locations or circumstances, and random people who are “probably good,” (but maybe they’re not!). Having experienced abuse, theft, and an embarrassing identity theft, I know what it feels like to be unsure, scared, and sometimes even incapable of taking care of myself.
My husband, Cranford, is a man who respects and honors women (man, am I lucky). He has an incredible background of experiences that have taught him so much about being safe, knowing what to look for, and so many simple actions you can take to avoid trouble and be prepared for terrible situations. Because of his desire to keep me safe, he has taught me things I can do to decrease my chances of being targeted by criminals, and the steps I can take if I do find myself in that awful situation. Now I have a new confidence when approaching these situations.
I can tell you that every day I am more aware, more confident, and more willing to do what it takes to make a difference in my personal safety. Many of these actions are really small changes to my behavior and awareness, but what a difference they make! Now that I have spent some time figuring out how to get out of or avoid bad situations, I don’t sit in fear, and “hope” that I will be okay. I know what to look for in order to give myself the best possible chances of overcoming whatever bad things might happen. I have a plan. I know without a doubt that I CAN fight, survive and thrive!
Come join us. I want to show you how to have the same strength and courage I have found.
I can’t wait to share my knowledge with you!
Penny
